Technicolor Shorebreak
“Our eyesight has evolutionary limitations, while our vision is limitless.”
Our eyesight has evolutionary limitations, while our vision is limitless.
The range of colors we see with our eyes controls our perception of the world, and forms our emotional state from moment to moment. Our vision is limitless, painting our world with colors and textures beyond the capacity of our physical forms.
Step into the shorebreak, where the sea meets sand and stone. Continental drifts and currents circulate timeless stories and energy streams across the spherical plane, as the ocean purifies your soul.

Psychedelic Sunsets
“Each photo tells a story.. though, within each story there are an infinite number of sub-stories and spin-off plot lines..”
Psychedelic Sunsets over the Bay 🌁✨
SF/Oakland has been my homebase for the last decade (when not off on adventures).
.. a place with an endless smount of ways to reinvent yourself, and a culture that supports taking risks & doing things differently. ❤️🔥
The week I created this shot in 2021, I was experimenting with spray paint textures with the master artist @deredwrk (IG), learning about techniques, styles, spray paint cap sizes, pressures.. over beers in the backyard on a hot day in Oakland, CA. That day inspired a perspective shift on ways to infuse graffiti textures into photography, to add layers and depth.. create more visual surface area to absorb energies from a moment.
Since that day, my photos have continued to become more subtly complex. Each photo tells a story.. though, within each story there are an infinite number of sub-stories and spin-off plot lines. Each photo painting is designed to be blown up to expansive sizes.. full walls, buildings, billboards… and the stories within the story will then be revealed.

Erasing Resistance
“Resistance is placed in our paths to test if we’re for real. Resistance is translucent. Make the choice to see straight through it…. erasing resistance like it’s Invisible Ink..”
To sink or swim is a conscious choice. We control our own destinies. Resistance is placed in our paths to test if we’re for real. Resistance is translucent. Make the choice to see straight through it…. erasing resistance like it’s Invisible Ink.
INVISIBLE INK has been evolving into its current form at an accelerated pace the past few years. Everyday it’s pushed further. The most important component for the recent clarity is by eliminating distractions, holding a force field around my mental space and orbit of influences. “Emptying the mind”, as Bruce Lee would say. Allowing my my instincts to take over, at my guides reveal the path. Removing the obstacles we create for ourselves… the self-inflicted resistance.
Resistance is an active force to prevent you from reaching your destiny. The harder you push, the greater the push back. Resistance is a sign you’re on the right path
Visualization and Manifestation of ideas, concepts, trajectories has brought clarity to my life in recent years.. to visualize my future, manifest my path, though non-directional… with limitless possibilities… as if floating at origin, eyes closed, with released expectations, ready to launch +/- x, y or z. We may not always know where we’re headed… in fact, we never truly know anything beyond what’s here and now, in this present moment.
Letting go of everything.. all expectations, all obligations, all connections entirely is not a selfish act. When we’re called upon to evolve, to elevate, to follow our destinies... we must follow our guides and trust our instincts…. erasing all resistance like INVISIBLE INK.

Like a Dream..
“neural networks bridging disconnected valleys, cherry picking scenes, sounds and sentiments..”
Like it was a dream, following a turbulent 96 hour energy transfer, left flying out the exit chute, our memory begins to warp the storyboards, infusing timelines, introducing old characters to new, neural networks bridging disconnected valleys, cherry picking scenes, sounds and sentiments, molding our mental bricks as desired to strengthen our psychic pyramids.

Experimentation leads to Discovery
“Focusing on one thing at a time sounds nice, though then you don’t have the spillover.”
Experimentation leads to discovery. My creative process functions best when I put the least amount of pressure and expectation on exploring an idea. While this can be a dangerous method for reaching goals, some of my most impactful discoveries have occurred while deep into a creative tangent.
At any given moment, I’m likely evolving multiple independent projects and concepts in parallel. I often say to myself that “focusing on one thing at a time sounds nice, though then you don’t have the spillover.” I love working with multiple different art mediums throughout the day, tapping into the infinite potential for the intersection of styles and influences.
This ocean series (part of RED TIDE- Bioluminescent Bloom) was inspired by painting watercolors of photographs from recent travel adventures. My family had just sent me a photo from their current visit to the island of Ischia, Italy, so i began to absorb the soft water textures and Mediterranean pastel paint tones.
Painting the coastal waters of Ischia inspired me to head to the beach, and begin replicating my watercolor paintings with my camera. Using multiple exposures, my rgb light, and the reflection from the Super Flower Blood Moon, the idea took off into a new dimension, as I brought the photographs into the Augmented Photography world using my own personal style, INVISIBLE INK.
While I film videos, I’m also creating abstract photos of the creation process (which is how this photo was created… the accidental discoveries.. the beauty is in the process). Layering color slices, infusing textures, tones and timelines, and the cycle of discovery continues.
While the tangents are an invaluable part of my process, the structure of this photo refocuses energies back through the center gates. The passing of each checkpoint evolving stronger, more precise, digging deeper connections one handful of sand at a time.

Protect your Vision
“Protect your Vision. Visualize a force field around the path to your future. Release all connection to low vibrations, and any need to interact with them.“
Protect your Vision. Visualize a force field around the path to your future. Release all connection to low vibrations, and any need to interact with them.
The higher you rise, the greater the resistance. Peaking resistance is a sign that you’re on the right path. Resistance is strongest just before the finish line. Razor-focus forward on your own dreams, and the beauty of the storm will be revealed. Dream until it’s your reality. 🌊✨🪷

Traveling Souls
The story of how Charlie Chaplin and Frida Kahlo met in the high lands of Tibet.
The story of how Charlie Chaplin and Frida Kahlo met in the high lands of Tibet.
Energies and connections travel across timelines, in the gap between physical and mythical worlds. The souls of past, present and future intersect in high altitude energy fields, flowing between timelines like a weightless glass elevator. The center guide grounds across the space time continuum, so worlds and eras may get a glimpse into each other for a snapshot.
It was in Tibet that Charlie dreamt he would come upon an abandoned boy that needed a home, just before he traveled back to open his window repair business. The future soul of Frida came to seek visions of her future, while physical bound to bed rest. Lives interwoven for a high altitude moment in the sky.

29.5 Days 🌑🌓🌕

The moon reinvents itself every 29.5 days. Each phase of the process has a different purpose. Balanced cycles of expansion and contraction. Vision transferring from inside to out. Like seasonal change, creating a full range of energies and gravitational pulls.
These photo prints were created over the past ten years living in San Francisco. Ocean Beach is a sanctuary space, a place to release all troubles into the sand and recharge the soul. The top print was created during the first month of quarantine, during April 2020. Living across from the beach, capturing moon phases from the living room window, while slow everything down along with the lace of the world.. as if the earth’s rotational dial was turned all the way down, making moon sets over the pacific last for an eternity.
The second print was taken from the roof, while filming surfers across the dunes in 2018. The third shot was taken back in 2014, as the sun was setting over the pacific. These images came back together to reflect on a decade on the west coast, and a reminder to hold onto the importance of simplicity.. the weightless feeling of sitting on the dunes at Ocean Beach watching a full color spectrum of light fade into the ocean.

MEMORY
“MEMORY of coming outside the morning after, of the moments of clarity, where the idea shifted, simplified.. “
“MEMORY of coming outside the morning after, of the moments of clarity, where the idea shifted, simplified. When the complexity, the structure was deemed unnecessary. The key is in the framework, where it’s been all along. Inner bloom transferred out, bud to bloom, morning light, everything shifted, winterfell.” (2022.5.13)
My projects and ideas have always overlapped each other. Elements intertwining, characters intersecting, style converging, worlds colliding. At any point in time, I’m likely working on five independent ideas spanned across a range of mediums The beauty is when they all intersect.

The Multiple Exposure Era
“We worked out the electrical over bloody Mary’s and inhaled a bit of last years dust..”
After years of experimenting with multiple exposures, this is the day I finally got a camera to shoot them in-camera. These photos (and this moment) represent the beginning of the in-camera multiple exposure era.
The day was late summer 2017. We brought our speaker setup out to the coastline behind candlestick, to test before the desert. We worked out the electrical over bloody Mary’s and inhaled a bit of last years dust. Those late summer days are reenergizing, as you begin to again think about returning to the desert.

I moved out west to San Francisco in 2011, after getting delayed a few years in the Colorado mountains on the way out. There are an endless amount of ways you can reinvent yourself in the Bay. A culture that supports taking the risk and doing something different.
This original photo was taken with a drone, while filming surfers on the roof across the street from ocean beach. The creation above is an abstract photo of the print.

Creative Calling
“It serves as a reminder to follow your inner voice, do things differently, and that the best camera out there is the one in your hand..”
I had been hearing about this book for years, recommended by numerous other creatives I’ve connected with. It serves as a reminder to follow your inner voice, do things differently, and that the best camera out there is the one in your hand.
Getting inspired by other creatives. Following their lead to listen to my own instincts, and not the accelerated resistance preventing me from becoming who I’m destined to be.
The original photo is from Hierve el Agua, MX, 2016.

Nights in Firenze
“It’s while walking the empty streets, absorbing soft sounds of music and conversation reflecting off ancient stone surfaces, that you can transport yourself across timelines..”
The best time to walk around the streets of Firenze is late at night, when all the tourists are asleep, and the late night personalities are out in their element. It’s while walking the empty streets, absorbing soft sounds of music and conversation reflecting off ancient stone surfaces, that you can transport yourself across timelines.
I spent a month with family in Florence in September 2021. I time traveled like never before, flowing through the centuries of spirits roaming the streets in the night. It was in Florence that I began to consciously visualize sound, and then infused these textures into my photography. The sound of a violinists strings vibrating off the Uffizi, the sound of electrical ticker boards in Santa Maria Novella, heels on cobblestone.
Centuries of energy intertwined in Firenze.

Architectural Influence
“When studying architecture, you’re constantly imagining the perspectives from every point in space, experiencing a moment from every angle. Now I use that same technique to build my own dreams.”
Architecture studies have been a heavy influence on my artistic evolution. I began studying in grade school, and my experiences have shaped the way I view the world.
When studying architecture, you’re constantly imagining the perspectives from every point in space, experiencing a moment from every angle. Now I use that same technique to build my own dreams, inside the camera.
Photos are original architecture sketches, from way back.
